Yesterday, I blogged about my problems with a pair of C.F.L. bulbs that had burnt out. They were G.E bulbs, and I had bought them at Wal-Mart. Great. I have a love / hate relationship with the world’s largest retailer. I shop there all the time. NOT. . . . → Read More: Here it is….our Big Snow! Right after lunch today, my wife told me that the light bulbs in our laundry room had burnt out. I really did not think anything of it, and went to change the bulbs. When I pulled off the globe, I saw that we had replaced the regular incandescent bulbs with the newer C.F.L. bulbs. (compact fluorescent light bulbs). Now this was timely because I had just this morning read an article in the New York Times about how consumers were becoming dissatisfied with these bulbs because of their failure rate. I got my hopes up….and I let myself get excited…. And so far….nothing. Ugh. I love a good storm. I’m kind of a weather junkie. I think part of it comes from when I was a kid.
